Description
The key responsibilities of the role will include:
- reviewing and assessing material gathered during investigations, reviews or policy projects using different methods to review and capture information in accordance with the requirements of the relevant legislation and policy;
- assisting in the creation of schedules of material in preparation for consultations, decisions and litigation;
- assisting the team in ensuring that case files and records are accurately and efficiently maintained, including document scheduling, archiving and retrieval in line with policy and procedures;
- drafting documents, including correspondence, memos and minutes;
- preparing materials for external counsel;
- supporting litigation readiness;
- supporting legislative review;
- supporting knowhow and information management;
- supporting with legal research;
- timely and accurate complex document preparation; and
- maintaining and promoting effective working relationships with colleagues in other business areas and with external bodies
