Costs draftsperson/paralegal

What does the role involve?
We are looking for a full time costs draftsperson/paralegal to provide in-house costs assessment work (mainly but not exclusively for defendant paying parties), and the preparation of precedent H costs budgets as well as costs schedules, estimates of costs and statements of costs.

What experience is required? 
You will have good recent commercial litigation costs experience, including preparation of breakdowns on behalf of receiving parties; analysis of costs breakdowns/bills on behalf of paying parties; preparation of points of dispute and advice to clients, and costs negotiation. Costs experience in professional negligence or personal/clinical injury an advantage. Experience of preparation of costs precedent H budgets would be an advantage but is not essential.
