Application details and method of selection
All applications should be made via the Langleys' online recruitment portal and should include your CV and a covering letter which should highlight the following key pieces of information:
Current address (e.g. term time address)
Home address (if different from above)
Which office you are applying to, highlighting any ties you may have to the area
A-level subjects (or equivalents), grades received and UCAS points received
Degree studied and final grade received/predicted
GDL/LPC results if applicable (e.g. pass, commendation, distinction)

Langleys is a major UK law firm offering a full range of legal services with offices in Lincoln and York. As well as being a leading name in these two key regional cities, Langleys has extended its reach far and wide to include the commercial hubs of Leeds, Nottingham and beyond, and has a growing national influence and client-base.

We offer a number of work placements once a year during the summer, which usually last for three days. The placement consists of a day each in a selection of departments and is a great opportunity for you to meet people who work here already, get an insight into what goes on and confirm if a career in law and working at Langleys is really for you. Preference is given to those individuals who also apply for a training contract.
