Application details and method of selection
We welcome applications from enthusiastic, high-calibre individuals who are determined to succeed in the law. You will need to have excellent communications skills and to thrive in a fast-paced, quality-orientated environment. We are a forward thinking firm and welcome candidates who will develop an innovative and modern approach to the practice of the law.
On average, we recruit five or six trainees a year. Applications from both law and non-law graduates are welcome. To be considered for a training contract with the firm you should be able to demonstrate a consistently high level of academic and personal achievement.

Training contract programme
A period of recognised training at Gordon Dadds offers an opportunity to gain experience, skills and knowledge in a wide range of practice areas (corporate and commercial (including IP), dispute resolution and litigation, regulatory solutions, property, family, private client and employment) typically on a six-month rotation basis. Our period of recognised training aims to go beyond the traditional rotation structure and also seeks to develop other essential skills such as networking, business development and business management, all of which we look for in our future partners.
