Role purpose

Our Banking and Finance team comprises over 20 specialist lawyers able to resource transactions from the simplest to the most complex. We act for a wide variety of lenders including all of the UK clearing banks, investment and merchant banks, mezzanine and non-institutional funders. We also act for borrowers including major corporates, governmental bodies, SME's and high net worth individuals. The team operates across a wide range of disciplines including corporate and transactional banking, acquisition finance and buy outs, property and development finance, asset finance, insolvency and restructuring, Islamic finance and financial services regulation.

Blake Morgan is ranked tier 1 for Banking and Finance in the South East (Legal 500).

We have a vacancy for a Solicitor within our Banking and Finance team located in Southampton, with occasional travel to London, Reading and our other offices.  The role is an exciting opportunity for an ambitious individual to develop their skills and to build their career within a leading law firm.

The successful candidate will be working on a portfolio of high quality and rewarding finance work both leading and supporting on transactions. They will have a great deal of client exposure and will be expected to develop a strong network of client relationships in the South Coast region.

The firm is interested in candidates with high calibre corporate experience (preferably banking and finance orientated) acquired at a leading national, regional or City law firm.  Exceptional in-house candidates will also be considered.
