Charities department and residential property paralegals

Charities department paralegal

You will be qualified to LPC, or equivalent academic qualifications with previous experience in a paralegal role.

The department offers specialist advice on a range of legal issues which are unique to the charity and not for profit sectors. You will ideally have some previous legal experience as part of a charity law practice but we will consider candidates who have worked in other disciplines. The successful applicant will also be required to assist in other departments when necessary and there will be a degree of firm’s administration/data entry work to be completed.

This role is for a 12 month fixed term contract. Salary commensurate with experience.

Residential property paralegal

You will be qualified to LPC, or equivalent academic qualifications with experience in residential property law/conveyancing.

The role will require you to handle your own conveyancing caseload from inception to closure with minimal supervision from your supervisor. Throughout your role, you will ensure that your files are kept in order and issue regular reports to clients. The successful individual will know the clear distinctions between freehold, leasehold, registered and unregistered transactions and will be technically competent in handling such matters.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 12/18 months residential conveyancing experience and be confident with all aspects of residential property transactions with the ability to demonstrate initiative and excellent client care skills.
