Are you qualifying soon and looking for a first career step or are you a capable and self-motivated Junior Paralegal with some initial portal work? Then you can build an exciting future with one of Europe’s most innovative law firms, according to the “Financial Times”. Join us as an Assistant / Junior Paralegal in DWF's Motor Insurance Centre of Excellence in Liverpool.
About the role
At the heart of the motor insurance team in our Liverpool office, you will progress some stimulating cases towards settlement whilst preparing detailed information for senior management. We will look to you to use our Case Management system and standard documentation to reduce timescales and costs, and you will have the autonomy to agree outcomes proactively – quickly developing your legal and technical knowledge.
With a very commercial, client driven mind-set and interest in motor insurance work, you should be ready to hit the ground running. Ideally you will bring some paralegal experience. We are however also open to considering fresh graduates for whom this role will certainly represent an excellent stepping stone to a legal career. You will certainly be capable of prioritising a conflicting workload, with a high level of flexibility and meticulous attention to detail, and you will be keen to progress and take on additional responsibilities. We are happy to consider flexible working options (4 days/ week).
