Real estate paralegal (with secretarial duties)

We have an opportunity for a paralegal to join our real estate team. Collyer Bristow has a leading full service property team recognised by Legal 500 as "absolutely excellent", "efficient and proactive", and "very professional and commercial". The real estate team is part of the wider commercial services department which comprises the practice groups of corporate & commercial and real estate (contentious and non-contentious).

The role is to provide legal and administrative support to real estate lawyers together with audio typing duties. The work will include performing legal research, drafting legal documents, undertaking property searches, audio typing from digital dictation (via Big Hand), copy typing and document production, document assembly, assisting with billing, proof reading, copy checking, indexing, archiving & filing.

You will need to have strong academic qualifications (A levels, 2.1 degree and, ideally completed the LPC). Previous experience working in a real estate team would be advantageous but is not essential. You will also need to demonstrate fast, accurate audio typing skills.

The hours of work are 9.30am to 5.30pm Monday to Friday with an hour for lunch each day. Some flexibility in working hours would be required.

Salary range is £23,000 - £25,000 depending upon experience.
