Accutrainee is searching for our next trainees

Accutrainee has two fantastic opportunities for aspiring solicitors to gain qualifying work experience with two of our most valued clients. These are highly prized opportunities to learn and train with a FTSE100 professional services firm or a specialist law firm in London starting at the end of 2020.

Accutrainee will support your training, development and mentoring as the training establishment and you will be seconded to the firm to gain qualifying work experience.

• At the professional services firm you will gain experience in a variety of commercial and corporate matters relating to the solutions they provide.
• At the law firm you will gain experience in a variety of criminal, extradition and corruption related matters.

Training contract overview

Accutrainee offers a unique route to qualification where trainees are seconded to in-house teams and private practice firms.

Accutrainee, as your training establishment, will continually monitor and assess both the work you are conducting, as well as your development throughout your training contract.

Duties and responsibilities

The successful trainee will have opportunities to develop different practice skills and gain the valuable experience needed to prepare them for qualification.

What we do know is that each and every one of our trainees receives high levels of responsibility as they are seconded only when there is a genuine need for their help in the team. Our trainees need to be ready to hit the ground running and adapt quickly to become valuable members of the teams they work in knowing they can rely on an enhanced support system as well as mentoring to guide them every step of the way.

Qualifications

• A level (or equivalent)
• Qualifying law degree
• At least six months’ previous paralegal experience

Who should apply?

We are looking for all-round candidates with strong intellectual, analytical and problem-solving skills, good communication and organisational skills with the ability to demonstrate resilience, commercial awareness, teamwork, a passion for law and dedication to succeed.

You can apply if you have already enrolled or taken the LPC or if you are planning to take the Solicitors Qualifying Examination (SQE) in 2021.

You must have a genuine passion for the subject matter that you can demonstrate during the selection process.
