The clinical law department comprises of over 90 fee earners over three offices (Wimbledon, Leeds and Birmingham). The firm has been a member of NHS Resolution’s panel of lawyers since its inception and, in addition to clinical negligence work, the department carries out a wide range of other work which includes acting for the MDDUS and a range of medical malpractice insurers and also inquests, advising on regulatory matters, public law issues, judicial reviews, mental health issues and clinical risk management.

We are seeking a self-motivated, ambitious and experienced solicitor to join our highly regarded and expanding clinical negligence/medical malpractice litigation team. The successful candidate will be expected to have litigation experience, preferably gained with a leading medical negligence (defendant or claimant), personal injury or insurance practice. We anticipate candidates will have 0 – 2 years of PQE. The role will involve managing a mixed caseload of claims against GPs and surgeons for a major defence organisation, NHS Resolution and a variety of medical malpractice insurers. Successful candidates will have the opportunity to work closely with a partner who will supervise your work and there will be opportunities for client contact and business development.
