UoL hosts National Law Fair

updated on 21 June 2013

The University of Law (UoL) is holding its annual National Law Fair at its Moorgate centre on Wednesday 26 June. The fair is open to UoL students, both current and prospective (ie, those enrolled on the GDL and LPC for a September 2013 start).

This year, nearly 40 firms will be in attendance, including DLA Piper UK, Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer, Irwin Mitchell and Mishcon de Reya. The fair will offer attendees an opportunity to speak directly to firms about a career in law, and gain information and tips on how to get ahead.

Professor Nigel Savage, president and provost of UoL, said: "As the world's largest professional law school, it is essential that we create events such as this, which allow our students and prospective students to meet some of the UK's top law firms. Enhancing the employment prospects of our students is one of our top priorities. The National Law Fair is the perfect platform for legal services providers to connect with some of the country's best new talent."
