With 30 years’ experience, we are proud to be one of the UK’s leading law schools with more top firms exclusively sending their trainees to BPP than anywhere else.

We have unrivalled connections across the legal profession, from the magic circle to high street practice, chambers to charities. These UK and international firms trust us because of the innovation, quality and professional relevance of our training.

Our courses focus entirely on your employability, developing the practical skills you need as a lawyer, giving you the edge to secure a training contract or pupillage.

PGDL

If you’re looking to switch to a career in law, our law conversion courses will build the foundational knowledge you need for your future legal training to become a solicitor or barrister

A law conversion course, also known as a PGDL, enables a smooth transition into studying law whilst developing the skills you need to secure pupillage or qualifying work experience.

You will learn like a lawyer from the outset, with teaching delivered by experienced solicitors and barristers. Through highly interactive small group teaching sessions, we provide opportunities to apply your growing legal knowledge and develop the core skills you need for practice.

LPC

If you are looking to become a solicitor, our LPC gives you the knowledge and skills to secure a training contract and succeed in practice. This course is still open to students who started their qualifying law degree or conversion course before 31 December 2021.

Your learning is built around simulated client portfolios to build the legal skills that employers and recruiters are looking for. Learn from qualified lawyers who can help to shape your career, with links to law firms and in-house teams at every level.

You can choose from a range of electives to match your passion and career goals, utilising our expertise within each legal specialism.

BTC

Our Barrister Training Course options offer excellent pupillage rates in a highly competitive environment, helping you to secure pupillage and become a barrister.

Our courses cover the integrated knowledge and skills necessary to pass your relevant assessments, including centralised assessments set by the Bar Standards Board (BSB).

We also offer an additional Professional Legal Studies module which includes a whole term dedicated to getting you prepared with core litigation skills and knowledge before embarking on the high stakes BTC.

LLM

Studying a Master of Laws (LLM) could give you an advantage in an increasingly competitive market, by developing your knowledge in a specialised area of law.

Our Master of Laws (LLM) offers a unique experience and education for professionals needing highly relevant expertise in key areas of law, along with practice of particular relevance to the modern financial and business world.

The course is delivered by a range of international experts and guest lecturers, from leading academics, researchers, judges, officials and practitioners from various legal systems. Each LLM specialism is led by professional lawyers with extensive knowledge and practical experience in that subject area, helping you to not only apply theory to practice but also network and connect with those in practice.

SQE

The SQE is the new pathway to qualify as a solicitor in England and Wales. It was introduced by the Solicitors Regulation Authority (SRA) to replace the outgoing Legal Practice Course (LPC).

We offer a range of SQE courses, allowing you to progress through your SQE legal training in a way that suits you. Opt for a standalone exam preparation course for SQE1 or SQE2 or choose a more comprehensive programme to ensure you have the best chance of success in the SQE examinations and your future legal career.
