Nine law firms make The Times top 100 graduate employers

updated on 04 October 2013

Allen & Overy, Clifford Chance and seven other law firms have been ranked among the top 100 graduate employers, compiled by The Times.

There was some movement among the law firms who were selected in comparison to last year's results. As Lawyer2B reported, Clifford Chance, Linklaters, Slaughter and May and Freshfields all improved on their positions from the 2012 rankings. Also appearing were new entries Baker & McKenzie at 72, Herbert Smith Freehills (78th) and DLA Piper (64th).

The directory was based on the results of face-to-face interviews with 18,252 final year students who graduated in Summer 2013. Those interviewed were asked, "Which employer do you think offers the best opportunities for graduates?". This research produced the names of over 1,100 organisations; the 100 with the most votes formed the official list.
