LC.N Awards 2014 shortlist announced

updated on 15 May 2014

Today we are pleased to bring you details of the firms and individuals who are nominated for the 11th annual LawCareers.Net Training & Recruitment Awards. The awards will be presented at a glamorous event at Merchant Taylors’ Hall in London on 22 May. We will be tweeting the results live on the night using #LCNAwards, so be sure to follow @LawCareersNetUK.

This year we will again be recognising individuals who make a difference to the lawyers of the future: training principals leading the way at law firms with the Best Training Principal award and inspirational lecturers with the Law Lecturer of the Year award. We will also be honouring one firm with the Commendation for Diversity, judged in association with Rare and the Law Society’s Lawyers with Disabilities Division.

Within the core awards for training and recruitment by firm (large and small, city and regional), we see nominations for multiple winners such as Burges Salmon, EMW Law, Farrer & Co, Nabarro and Shoosmiths, whose consistent excellence has been apparent over the years. Furthermore, every category is hard fought with most decided on a hair’s breadth.
