Hill Dickinson begins recruiting third wave of legal apprentices

updated on 26 November 2014

Hill Dickinson has launched the recruitment drive for its third annual intake of legal apprentices.

The firm is currently taking applications for six apprentices to join its offices in Liverpool and Manchester next Autumn. The apprentices will undertake the CILEx Level 3 Advanced Apprenticeship in Legal Services, a two-year structured programme of on-the-job training delivered by the firm and CILEx Law School. The training ends in a formal vocational qualification which also contributes toward becoming a chartered legal executive.

Sarah Pickerill, Hill Dickinson’s head of people and talent, said: “The young people we are recruiting as legal apprentices will play a key role in the future of the firm. The legal apprenticeship route is an ideal way of teaching young people the specialist skills needed to deliver first-class legal services to our clients and the success of this scheme over the past two years is testament to this. By way of demonstration we have recently celebrated the success of legal apprentice Jessica Gallagher, from our Manchester office, who gained the joint highest mark in the country in her tort law module.”
