Hi, my name is Solinda. I graduated from the University West of England in 2017 and I am currently studying the LPC part-time at the University of Law. I am also full time Private Client Paralegal at an award-Winning national consumer law firm.
When applying to law firms, whether it is for a vacation scheme or training contract, it can sometimes feel as though the only method to use to get an offer is to apply to as many firms as possible. After all, it makes sense to cast your net as wide as possible, right? Or at least that is what I used to think.
On 17 July 2016 Natasha Edna-Laperouse died following a flight from London to Nice after eating an artichoke, olive and tapenade baguette from Pret a Manger. Despite two EpiPens being administered to her, Ms Edna-Laperouse went into cardiac arrest and passed away at a hospital in Nice.
As the second year of my LPC has now begun, I have decided to focus my first blog on my experience so far and whether choosing the part-time option was a good decision.
