The application to attend a virtual insight evening 2021 is now open!

What will I gain from attending?

Attending a virtual insight evening will give you an insight into our practice areas and clients, our training contract, and the skills you need to develop and become a successful solicitor. The event will be packed with opportunities for you to meet our people and will include valuable advice for your training contract application.

You will hear from our current trainees who will explain what attracted them to Shoosmiths. You will also meet solicitors and partners and hear their journey from trainee to solicitor and why they chose to qualify into a certain area of law.

Who can apply?

We offer virtual insight evenings to students in any year of study at university, in any discipline. We also welcome applications from graduates and postgraduates.

When will they be held?

• Tuesday 12 January – Midlands

Birmingham, Nottingham and Milton Keynes candidates

• Tuesday 19 January – North

Manchester and Leeds candidates

• Tuesday 26 January – South

London, Thames Valley and Solent candidates

• Tuesday 2 February – Scotland

Edinburgh candidates

Although the events are taking place virtually in 2021, we advise you to apply for the office location where you would like to complete a placement and training contract.
