Hello to all and welcome to my blog. I graduated a few years ago with a non-law degree and completed the Graduate Diploma in Law (or CPE, if you prefer) last year. I’ll be sharing with you the highs, the lows and the somewhere-in-the-middles of life as a part-time LPC student at Northumbria University.

As one might expect, the decision has proved highly controversial, although most commentators concede that it is not entirely devoid of merit: it will at least go some way to prevent employers being held to ransom by lazy, ineffectual employees who abuse the protection afforded to them under the current regime.
