Training programme

Our firm's work ethos calls for trainees who relish hard work and intellectual challenges. You will be ambitious, keen to assume professional responsibility from the start of your training and determined to have a successful career in a first-class firm.

Our two-year training programme will equip you with all the skills needed to become a successful commercial lawyer. After a short induction, you will spend six months in each of our main areas of practice. You will be treated as an integral part of our London team from the outset. We will expect you to contribute creatively to all the transactions you are involved in. Ours is an informal yet professional atmosphere. Your enthusiasm, your intellect and your energy will be more important than what you wear to work.

We will provide you with a supervisor, a mentor, arrange personal and professional development courses and give you early responsibility.

We also offer sponsorship for the GDL and LPC courses, together with a maintenance grant of £7,000 per academic year.
