About the team/directorate

Our award winning legal service aims to improve the quality of life for our residents through providing professional, effective and high quality legal services to our clients across the council, meeting their needs, facilitating their objectives, protecting the council's interests and keeping it within the law.

The role

We are currently looking for an experienced civil litigation paralegal to join our team, to provide legal service to clients across the council. Responsible for your own varied caseload, you will undertake basic advocacy on behalf of the council in court hearings and leasehold valuations tribunals. This is a great opportunity to develop your career as there will be the opportunity to take on more complex civil litigation.

The applicant

Your knowledge and understanding of civil litigation and experience of county court debt collection along with your law degree, CILEX or equivalent is what we are looking for. You will have excellent spoken and written communication skills, enthusiasm to join our busy service and drive to contribute to our strong reputation.
