The role

An opportunity has arisen in our Cheltenham office for a paralegal to join the team of four commercial real estate lawyers comprising two partners and two solicitors. The team are part of the firm's business services group and act for a number of well known national retail clients.

The role would include:

• active day to day support of the team lawyers as required
• direct exposure to clients
• assisting in the production of title and other client reports
• conducting and managing online search enquiries
• dealing with post completion work including Land Registry applications and SDLT
• legal research
• drafting correspondence
• scanning copying and pagination
• providing administrative support in areas such as marketing and business development activities

Abilities

Candidates must have either completed or have commenced the LPC and ideally possess:

• excellent communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team
• IT skills (Word, Outlook and web-based applications)
• excellent organisational skills
• a knowledge of real estate work

• a 'can-do' approach
• a willingness to learn
• Preference will be given to those living in or around Cheltenham

The role is full time and permanent attracting a salary of £13,000 per annum.
