Spanish speaking paralegal (international and group claims)

We are seeking a Spanish speaking paralegal to join the international and group claims. This is an interesting and challenging role and the successful applicant will assist a partner with a high value multi-party action involving Latin American clients. The successful applicant will work within a team of solicitors, paralegals and support staff, under the supervision of the Partner in charge. The role will mainly involve assisting with trial preparation. 
 
The ideal candidate will have a good academic background (legal qualification desirable) and relevant paralegal experience is preferred. Fluency in Spanish and English is essential. Previous interpretation/translation experience is advantageous. Familiarity with the UK civil procedure rules, highly desirable as well as previous experience of preparing for trial. The successful candidates will be conscientious, computer-literate with excellent literacy skills. Together with being a strong team player, candidates should be hard working, proactive and able to use their initiative. A positive attitude and an active interest in this area of law are essential.
 
Start date: ASAP
This is a full-time, 6 months fixed-term contract position
Salary: Competitive
