- Ten Nobel-prize-winning economists joined forces to warn of the damage that Brexit could cause to the economy.
- Added to which, George Soros warns that the economic crash following a Brexit will make everyone poorer.

- And finally, for a change of theme, Tesco is pleased by its second-quarter performance in a “challenging market”. It has also announced that it plans to sell off Giraffe, Dobbies Garden Centres, and Harris & Hoole coffee shops.
