A Magna Carta for a digital age? Students invited to enter Times/HSF advocacy competition

updated on 28 May 2015

This year’s advocacy competition, run by The Times and sponsored by Herbert Smith Freehills, has opened for submissions. Students are asked to consider the question, "Do we need a new Magna Carta for the digital age?"

All students registered with an academic institution in the United Kingdom are eligible to enter. Those interested in participating must submit a 400 word skeleton argument and a 90 second YouTube presentation by Monday 20 July. Four shortlisted candidates will be invited to the final in London on 16 September 2015, with prizes worth £6,500 on offer for the winners.

For full details of how to enter, read more about the competition on the Herbert Smith Freehills website.
