Never let it be said that LawCareers.Net is above such things. We were recently asked by MediaPlanet to write something for their online supplement, Careers in Law. The title seemed to have our name on it, so we were in. Released on 30 September, the guide offers insightful articles on topics such as workplace equality, alternatives to law (otherwise known as, 'What do I do with my law degree when I don't want to be a lawyer?’) and our favourite, the future of the profession!
Nick Fluck, president of the Law Society, also writes a thoughtful introduction to life as a lawyer, touching on the challenges of legal aid cuts and the various routes you could end up taking on your way to a legal career.
If you're after a career in law, then Careers in Law is required reading. The clue's in the name!
