- Credit Suisse faces a massive fine of $2.5 billion as it admits to criminal charges in the United States of tax evasion.
- Vince Cable stood up for women everywhere, taking to task commodities trader GlencoreXstrata, the only FTSE 100 company without a woman on its board.
- CityLawLIVE sponsor Baker & McKenzie is to take the lead on the Gherkin’s receivership – a building that has found itself in a bit of a pickle.
- As the governor of the Bank of England, Mark Carney, worries about the housing bubble, Robert Peston wonders if there might be a bigger threat to financial recovery - namely, banks already forgetting the harsh lessons of the 2008 crash.
