Russell-Cooke open day

Russell-Cooke is hosting two open days on Tuesday 21 April and Wednesday 29 April aimed at graduates eligible to apply for a training contract to start in 2017. 

The firm is a top 100 London based law firm with around 170 highly-regarded specialist solicitors and lawyers, some of whom are known to be leaders in their fields.

We are unique in that we offer services to a mix of commercial, not-for-profit, regulatory and individual clients.  Our variety of expertise means we can offer an unusually wide range of experience in areas including high-value commercial property, corporate law, charity, professional regulation, private client, family law as well as dispute resolution.

We are a Lex 100 top 20 firm in a number of categories and are known for offering challenging but rewarding work and giving our trainees a high level of responsibility. Trainees work in a friendly and supportive environment that looks to encourage their own unique development.

Graduates will have the opportunity to meet experienced practitioners from a variety of departments, meet and chat with our current trainee solicitors, and take a guided tour around the offices.

What to expect

Held at our Putney office, the day begins with registration at 9:30am and is expected to conclude by 1:30pm.  The day will include:

• a talk from our managing partner about the firm
• application and interview advice from the training partner
• networking opportunities with trainees and associates from a variety of departments
• an office tour.

This is an opportunity for you to see what it is really like to work at a top 100 law firm and to ask as many questions as you like.

We have limited spaces available for each day. The deadline for applying is Friday 20 March.

If your application is successful we will send you further details of the programme.

We are not setting specific minimum criteria for applications to the open day. In terms of applications for training contracts we do require at least three A levels (excluding general studies) of which two should be an A and the third a B (or equivalent) and (where relevant) a 2.1 degree.
