Nottingham Law School is one of the largest university Law Schools in the UK. GDL
This conversion course can be studied in one year full-time or over two years by distance learning and is designed for non-law graduates who wish to qualify as a solicitor or barrister in the UK.
- Recognised by the SRA and Bar Standards Board.
- Successful completion guarantees a place on our LPC.
- Scholarships available.
- After completing the LPC or BPTC students may be eligible for the Graduate LLB award.
LPC
Our LPC has an excellent reputation and is highly regarded nationally having continuously received the highest grades possible from the SRA/Law Society. This course can be studied full-time over one year, or part-time over two years and is designed in conjunction with a range of practices from high street firms to city corporates and the publicly funded sector. Students can choose to specialise in a particular practice area or keep their options open.

BPTC

Postgraduate course
Nottingham Law School also offer a Masters in Law (LLM) programme with an extensive choice of subject areas. Students can study for a single or Joint award in named pathways or opt for a General award.
Teaching is by staff with expertise in their subject area. Most are nationally or internationally recognised researchers in their fields.
The programme is offered full-time over one year, and part-time over two years. Subject areas include: international trade, corporate, insolvency, intellectual property, employment, competition, sports law, human rights, health, international criminal justice, public international law.
Scholarships are available.
